Casale Ca’ Berna is a beautiful country house situated on the slopes of the Apennines, nestled between the historic towns of Frontone and Cagli.
It is a fantastic destination for families and larger groups looking for peace, space, and privacy.
This charming house is located on a private property of over 3,000 m², bordered by majestic oak trees and accessed through a wrought-iron gate that makes you feel like you’re coming home to your very own “dynasty” residence.
The ground floor of the house features a cozy living room and kitchen. A comfortable sofa and a spacious dining table invite you to spend many delightful hours together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a 4-burner gas stove, an oven, and plenty of workspace. A washing machine is also available. On the ground floor, there is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The 1e floor has three lovely bedrooms and a large bathroom with a bathtub. The house can accommodate up to six adults. One of the bedrooms also has a bunk bed for children.
Outside, you can relax under the large covered veranda or find another comfortable shaded spot in the garden. Sun lovers will also find a perfect place to bask! You can unwind in the spacious outdoor jacuzzi. In the afternoon, fire up the built-in BBQ to enjoy dinner on the large terrace while watching the sunset and the panoramic views of the valley. You can even see San Marino in the distance!
For children, there’s the Elf House, an exciting treehouse where they can play and let their imaginations run wild. The zipline and swing in the garden are not only fun for them but also for parents who want to feel young again for a moment!
The many hiking trails and forest paths in the area invite you to embark on wonderful adventures. Spend hours exploring the mountains of Le Marche; Monte Catria, Monte Acuto, and Monte Petrano are waiting for you. Whether on foot or by (e-) mountain bike, you’ll enjoy the tranquility, nature, and stunning views.
The lively town of Cagli is just a 9-minute drive away. This medieval town still retains the authentic and relaxed atmosphere of the past. Its many cafés and squares are perfect for a cappuccino and a sweet pastry in the morning, just like the Italians enjoy, or an aperitif in the late afternoon before dinner.
In and around the center, you’ll find various restaurants, ice cream parlors, and a variety of shops. On Wednesday mornings, the main square hosts the weekly market. Cagli also boasts a beautiful old theater with classical and baroque elements.
If you’d like to shop more extensively or immerse yourself further in Italian culture in a larger city, historic gems like Pesaro, Fano, Perugia, Urbino, and Gubbio are all nearby and can be reached within an hour by car.
The beach at Fano is just a 45-minute drive away.
And when you’re tired from hiking, e-biking, swimming in rivers, and wandering through medieval towns, you can join one of the dinners at Casale Torre Del Sasso!
