Casale Torre Del Sasso. Located on the hill of Colombo del Sasso. 14 hectares in size, with woods, fields and its own river, Fiumi Bosso. The beautiful grounds are located right next to the “bubbly” ancient city of Cagli. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance, a beautiful theater just a stone’s throw away, yet completely secluded because it is surrounded by an ancient park with beautiful stately oaks.
Originally a watchtower from the 15th century, Casale Torre del Sasso was part of Cagli’s defenses and is located on the historic Roman road Via Flaminia. The accommodations have been completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts, without sacrificing atmosphere and authenticity. The estate is nestled among ancient trees and separated by a calmly flowing river, on a small hill next to the medieval town of Cagli and is easily accessible for any type of transport (incl. Caravan).
Various terrains, different in height, give you the opportunity to get lost in your own world. A true mecca for children to make discoveries (wells and springs, undiscovered forest trails, a bubbling river within easy reach), for parents an oasis of peace and luxury, but also the guarantee that their children can roam safely over the site without getting lost.
Historic towns such as Gubbio and Urbino are less than 30 minutes by car. Beautiful Assisi is an hour’s drive away and the Adriatic coast towns of Pesaro and Fano are less than 50 km from the estate. The Frasassi caves are close by and well worth a visit!
