Carola has worked in the financial services industry all her adult life, in a variety of roles and at all levels. “One more big step to take” she says regularly!` Rob is an ambitious entrepreneur with a passion for cooking. Within various working areas, countries, functions and finally in his own company!
Originally a watchtower from the 15th century, Torre del Sasso was part of the defenses of Cagli and is located on the historic Roman road Via Flaminia. It has been completely renovated and equipped with every comfort, without sacrificing atmosphere and authenticity. A large holiday home, three independent apartments and the small-scale campsite (open 2025) make CASALE TORRE DEL SASSO a unique whole and a fantastic holiday destination.
The COLOMBI holiday home can accommodate 8-10 people. In the completely renovated tower, with tower room, you imagine yourself back in the Middle Ages Of course with all modern luxury and comfort, but while retaining authenticity. With 2 spacious bathrooms, an extensive kitchen (with dishwasher) and a fantastic fireplace in the spacious living room, this house is a real pleasure. With 4 spacious bedrooms and of course the possibility to add (children’s) beds, the house is suitable for large families or people who just like a lot of space!
Separately located and offering a lot of privacy! Each apartment has a complete kitchen (with dishwasher), a spacious bathroom, a separate living room and a spacious bedroom. The apartments are suitable for 2-4 persons and still exude the authentic atmosphere that you want to experience in Italy. The private terrace, with brick BBQ, offers a lot of privacy. You just don’t have to meet anyone if you don’t want to!
It is of course possible, at the pool, the shared breakfast or during one of the delicious dinners where you can sit down.
The small-scale campsite will also open in 2025. 8 luxury tents, fully furnished with everything the modern camping guest wants to see, are spaciously placed on the beautiful terrain, divided into terraces.
There are also max. 10 separate camping pitches where you can easily place your caravan or tent. There are several picnic tables on the campsite and various brick BBQs are available.
The spacious luxury sanitary facilities make it complete and pleasant!
You are only truly distinctive if you continue to strive for meaning. Rob and Carola will organize and facilitate various social activities outside the regular holiday season. Mentally handicapped children and adults can come and enjoy a carefree holiday. They also offer the opportunity for various training courses, workshops and coaching activities. And finally, Rob organizes internships and training for Aikikai from all over the world.

Casale Torre Del Sasso is located in the center of the most beautiful coastal part of Le Marche. A short distance from beautiful coastal towns and extensive beaches. The forests and mountains are intersected by many cycling and walking routes. Good for both the beginner and the experienced ‘adventurer’. The many historical towns such as Gubbio, Ancona, Assisi and many more with a great wealth of historical architecture can be reached within one hour. Be surprised by the many shops, medieval cathedrals and beautiful small towns with atmospheric squares and streets await you.
